About the role
Job Purpose: As a Systems Administrator IV, you will maintain and manage server/system environments. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting complex issues, developing and presenting architectures and designs, and ensuring the overall health and performance of the systems. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions. Essential Functions: - Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues on vendor platforms, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions - Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and enhancements for the vendor platforms, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability - Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies on the vendor's platform - Document system configurations, technical specifications, and procedures for the server/system environment - This position requires on-call support Education: - Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses: - ITIL preferred Experience: - 10+ Years Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Basic Windows Server functionalities - IBM MQ, Advanced Job Scheduler and/or VIOS or MIMIX (preferred) - ServiceNow preferred Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements - Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: The work is primarily performance in an office or remote setting. .
