About the role
As an HVAC Simulation Engineer at BuildingsAI, you will be responsible for the following: - Generating technical reports and HVAC simulation case studies to analyze building energy performance. - Creating comparative studies using HVAC equipment from various manufacturers to enhance engineering insights. - Building a robust technical content ecosystem to support future consultancy and technical activities through published engineering work. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following educational qualifications: - B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Preferred skills for this position include: - Minimum of 2 years' experience in building energy modeling projects or product support. - Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building energy systems. - Familiarity with simulation workflows and ability to interpret engineering data and simulation outputs. - Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation. - Analytical and problem-solving mindset with good knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics. In addition, the ideal candidate will: - Enjoy engineering analysis and simulation work. - Have a strong curiosity for HVAC systems and building energy performance. - Be comfortable learning simulation software independently. - Communicate technical findings clearly through reports. - Demonstrate an analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
