Engineer, Mechanical

Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and design mechanical systems, including Exhaust Stacks, Ductwork, Layout, and Piping systems. - Design and oversee the installation of systems in industrial environments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. - Provide technical support for maintenance and repair activities. - Participate in project kick-off meetings, understand project/client specifications, and prepare data sheets for equipment and packages. - Issue Material Requisitions for procurement, evaluate vendor offers, and prepare comparison sheets for technical bid recommendations. - Review vendor documentation, coordinate with other disciplines for inter-disciplinary reviews, and review final documentation and vendor data dossiers. - Support proposals for technical reviews and costing. Qualifications & Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5-10 years of experience (Experience in RTO systems is an added advantage). - Knowledge of blower, materials, and testing requirements. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Strong understanding of combustion systems, heat recovery, and air flow dynamics. - Familiarity with environmental regulations such as EPA and local air quality standards.
