Senior Solutions Architect - Payment Systems (Washington, DC)

As a Senior Solutions Architect with our client in Washington, DC, you will leverage your expertise in architectural modeling, service-oriented architecture, enterprise information management, and software design to develop innovative solutions for complex business problems. Your role will involve working as a Solution Architect for large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs, particularly in the payments industry or with payment gateways. You will have demonstrated experience in designing and implementing SOA and services in an enterprise setting, with a strong background in Java and over 5 years of software development experience. Additionally, you will have proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native applications, as well as a solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and databases. Responsibilities: Architect solutions grounded in state-of-the-art principles of architectural modeling and service-oriented architecture. Serve as the Solution Architect for large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs. Develop solutions that effectively solve business problems. Design and implement SOA and services in an enterprise setting. Leverage experience in the payments industry or with payment gateways. Utilize over 5 years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Java.
