About the role
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and support business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows/Linux servers, Azure, scripting, databases, and application support with an automation-first mindset. Location: Chennai Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone Key Skills: 5+ years of Application/Infrastructure Support. Windows Server / Red Hat Linux. Microsoft Azure (Azure Fundamentals preferred). PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting. SQL Server / Oracle databases. Application troubleshooting & performance monitoring. ITIL / ITSM concepts. Networking, Virtualization, Storage & Active Directory. Agile / DevOps environment. Excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Manage and support business-critical applications. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Work with DBAs to resolve database-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application availability. Maintain technical documentation and follow ITIL best practices. Azure Fundamentals & Windows Certifications.
