Oracle OCI Administrator | Night Shift (Chennai)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle OCI Database Administrator with 5+ years of experience in managing and optimizing Oracle databases across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. Location: Chennai Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases (19c, 23ai, 26ai). - Manage Oracle OCI services, including Base Database Service, Exadata Cloud Service, and Autonomous Database. - Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. - Implement and manage Data Guard, Active Data Guard, RMAN, RAC, and ASM environments. - Execute backup, recovery, patching, and security management activities. - Support database migration projects to OCI. - Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity. - Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting and maintain Linux/Unix environments. Required Skills: - Solid experience in Oracle Database Administration and Oracle OCI. - Hands-on experience with Data Guard, RMAN, RAC, ASM, and Exadata Cloud Service. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and Linux/Unix administration. - Experience in database performance tuning, security, and cloud migration. .
