System Engineer Application & Integration Management

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and support business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows/Linux servers, Azure, scripting, databases, and application support with an automation-first mindset. Location: Chennai Work Model: Rotational/Night Shift - USA time zone Key Skills: 5+ years of Application/Infrastructure Support Windows Server / Red Hat Linux Microsoft Azure (Azure Fundamentals preferred) PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting SQL Server / Oracle databases Application troubleshooting & performance monitoring ITIL / ITSM concepts Networking, Virtualization, Storage & Active Directory Agile / DevOps environment Excellent communication skills Responsibilities: Manage and support business-critical applications. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Work with DBAs to resolve database-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application availability. Maintain technical documentation and follow ITIL best practices. Nice to Have: Azure Fundamentals Certification Experience with lifecycle management and automation initiatives Knowledge of DevOps practices
