About the role
What you will be doing The Batch Job Administrator will be responsible for constructing, executing and monitoring batch jobs in our SAP REDWOOD environments. Daily duties and responsibilities include reporting any inconsistencies, failures, or non-conforming batch requests from various teams. Complying with AB standards and providing system reports as needed by internal controls, audits, and change management reviews as needed. Regular live monitoring of the batch system for issues and performance health are essential. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_ Works closely with SAP teams requesting batch jobs to fully understand the scheduling and component requirements. Provides guidance as needed so job builds conform with AB standards. Supports and addresses questions and issues that arise from batch executions; provides follow-up support as needed for resolution. Provides audit and control reports as requested by the respective teams at AB Understands and recognizes issues with the live systems and works with Basis team for resolution. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrates innovation and collaboration in project and team work. Good group presentation skills. Proficiency with computer operations including Outlook, Word, Excel and various other computer programs. Ambition, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. What your background should look like EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE:_ Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
