About the role
- Experience required 8 10 years - Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related components. - Perform database capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. - Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, roles, privileges, and encryption. - Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including regular backups, data archiving, and disaster recovery planning. - Monitor database performance metrics, analyse trends, and identify areas for optimization and improvement. -Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and system outages in a timely manner. -Well verse with Oracle features like ASO / Database Vault / OKV / FarSync etc. -Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning. -Experience with Oracle Database versions 19c and above and Oracle Enterprise Edition features. Job Description : -We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. - As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle database environment to ensure optimal performance, - availability, and security. You will work closely with our IT team, developers, and stakeholders to support database operations, - implement best practices and troubleshoot issues. -Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), with hands-on experience managing Oracle databases in a production environment.
