About the role
- Significant experience ( 7+ years) in software development, including hands-on experience in software architecture design and development. - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and expertise in software architecture patterns, principles, and best practices, as well as proficiency in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the COEs technology stack. - Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to lead technical teams, make strategic decisions, and drive architectural initiatives. - Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design optimal technical solutions. - Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and facilitate consensus among team members. Job Description : - Define and design the overall software architecture and technical solutions for the COE, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements. - Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams within the COE, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and standards. - Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions, including designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and efficient software components. - Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the COE. - System Integration: Collaborate with other architects and teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of software components within the COE and with external systems. - Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize software performance, scalability, and reliability to ensure efficient and responsive software solutions within the COE. - Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and guidelines to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive technical reference. - Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to understand requirements, communicate architectural decisions, and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. - Mentoring and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to developers, promoting best practices, architectural principles, and continuous learning within the COE. - Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define and implement quality standards, review code, and ensure software quality and compliance with coding standards.
