About the role

You will be responsible for one or more of the following activities: - Monitor, identify, investigate, and analyze all cyber security incidents within the organization. - Identify and remediate security flaws and vulnerabilities. - Respond to incidents, conduct threat analysis, and address detected issues. - Evaluate event flows to identify common risks and implement solutions. - Assist with security audits, risk analysis, network forensics, and penetration testing. - Monitor the security of designated networks and systems. - Prepare detailed incident reports and technical briefs. - Ensure adherence to security systems, standards, and frameworks. - Investigate suspicious events and escalate when applicable. Core Competencies: - Strong understanding of system and process interrelationships. - Ability to identify tools, techniques, and procedures used by cyber adversaries. - Exposure to cloud technologies and CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures). - Awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends. - Knowledge of security management and policies. - Timely problem escalation. Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Arcsight/Qradar for log monitoring and analysis. - Experience in threat analysis and security operations. - Good knowledge of Web Servers, Databases, Application Servers, Networking (Firewalls), Windows, and UNIX. - Experience of query languages and scripting. The company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with 3 - 5 years of experience for a Full Time role in a Hybrid work mode based in Chennai, India. The interview process will include Technical Evaluation, Business Unit Head Evaluation, and HR/CEO Discussion.
