Salesforce System Analyst

As a Salesforce System Analyst based in Pune with over 7 years of relevant experience, your role will involve translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product leads, developers, and testing teams to ensure high-quality functionality aligned with organizational objectives. Core Responsibilities: - Maintain clear communication channels with business teams, IT departments, and external vendors. - Assess current workflows to identify opportunities for improvement or automation. - Author/refine user stories with clear Acceptance Criteria (Given/When/Then) and nonfunctional requirements. - Scope & prioritize backlog with Product Owner, size stories, and highlight risks/assumptions. - Oversee custom development (Apex, LWC) ensuring alignment with functional intent and scalable patterns. - Support SIT by triaging defects, performing RCA, and driving design clarifications or configuration fixes. - Own functional golive checklist including data readiness, access provisioning, comms & training assets, and rollback plan. - Track KPIs and drive backlog of improvements. - Collaborate with DevOps/release teams (Copado) to ensure smooth deployments. - Perform post-release smoke testing to confirm system stability. - Resolve Salesforce issues through functional triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Excel. - Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. - Understanding of ERP, CRM, or custom enterprise systems. - Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, Omni studio, APIs, integration tools, and AppExchange products. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are considered assets.
