About the role
As a Senior QA Engineer at CES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and enhancing the client experience. You will be part of an agile development scrum team, leading and performing software testing functions through manual and automated efforts across a variety of projects. Responsibilities: - Oversee the design, development, execution, and maintenance of testing strategies and automation platforms - Perform system analysis to recommend improvements in architecture, scalability, and reliability of testing methodologies - Recommend new technologies and strategies related to testing needs - Lead guild activities to expand technical knowledge among engineers - Author, maintain, and execute functional test cases and test plans for complex stories - Define automation strategies, protocols, and frameworks for the team - Participate in reviewing and providing feedback on test cases and test plans - Provide high-level estimates of QA activities at a project level - Role model and coach on effective time management techniques - Ensure the team meets sprint commitments and maintain code quality for long-term maintainability - Convey project status and deliverables to key stakeholders in a timely manner Qualifications: - Minimum 6+ years' experience in Agile methodology and understanding of various test methodologies - Proficiency in authoring automated test suites, preferably in Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress - Experience in risk analysis of large web-based applications - Strong communication skills to convey test results to team members and stakeholders - Capability in writing and maintaining performance test scripts - Ability to analyze performance test results - Familiarity with Gherkin story format Join CES to be a part of our exponential growth phase and contribute to our continuous improvement, process-oriented culture, and true partnership mindset with our customers.
