As a Software Engineer at CFD Research, you will support the end-to-end software engineering lifecycle for advanced DoD applications. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, code development, unit testing, system integration, and software sustainment activities to support formal baseline deliveries.

Basic Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Department of Defense Secret clearance (must maintain throughout contract performance).

• Experience: 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using modern languages.

• Technical Proficiency: Core proficiency writing and debugging code in C/C++, Java, and Python.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM discipline.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience operating within Agile development teams.

• Exposure to embedded architectures or real-time operating systems (RTOS) used in defense systems.
