Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer with robust Micro-services experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping production-grade backend services in a microservices environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working directly with clients to understand their requirements, solution their use cases, and integrate/deploy the product in their environment - Owning problems end-to-end by building, deploying, and debugging in the client's setup, and ensuring the solution is seen through to production - Leading technical discussions with client engineering and business teams to translate their needs into working solutions - Building integrations with third-party systems and APIs within customer environments - Collaborating cross-functionally with internal product and engineering teams to incorporate client learnings back into the product As an ideal candidate for this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering with 2+ years in a product company - Hands-on experience building and running applications in a Micro-services setup, including designing services, REST APIs, and service-to-service communication - Strong production-grade experience in building and shipping real services in Java or Node.js (Java is highly preferred) - Experience working directly with external customers in an engineering capacity, including solutioning, integrating, or deploying the product in the customer's environment, and handling technical discussions with their teams - Comfortable with both SQL and NoSQL databases Please note that preference will be given to candidates with a B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science from Tier-1 or Tier 2 institutes and experience in product companies (B2B SaaS is preferred). In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, you should possess skills in technical discussions, Java, B2B, Python, and microservices to excel in this role.
