Role & Responsibilities Overview Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET / .NET Core Developing and maintaining all server-side components Build and expose RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations Implement business logic, validations, and data processing layers Handle exception management, logging, and monitoring Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests Collaborating with other front and back-end developers on the integration of elements Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support Documenting React communication flow, Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others, including situations where you may disagree with people Create/develop microservices, api using knowledge of RESTful APIs Enable tight application security using advanced concepts including modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token etc. Leverage deeper understanding of software development best practices to work efficiently in an agile environment Ensure distributed development environment using code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, Or Mercurial) Candidate Profile Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply Demonstrated work experience with Insurance domain based web-products/SaaS applications 5+ years working as a .Net developer Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and other scripting languages including .Net, .Net core etc. Strong SQL skills and experience and experience with relational and non-relational databases e.g. (Postgress/Trino/redshift/Mongo). Experience with developing SAAS applications over public cloud infrastructure - AWS/Azure/GCP; Experience in container and serverless architecture (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) Experience in asynchronous messaging and microservice architecture Experience with OAuth2 and/or SAML auth protocols. Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha OR Jest. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
