Job Title: Associate Consultant SME ERP Finance Testing Position: SME ERP Finance Testing Experience:8-15 years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift: General Main location: India, Karnataka, Bangalore and Hyderabad Location Employment Type: Full Time #LI-SB15 Position Description We are seeking an experienced Associate Consultant with strong domain expertise in Finance processes and hands-on experience in ERP application testing. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance modules, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of business-critical ERP processes through effective testing and validation. This role requires deep understanding of financial workflows rather than generic QA or Business Analyst experience. Your future duties and responsibilities: ERP Finance Domain Expertise Act as SME for ERP Finance modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets. Validate end-to-end finance business processes and workflows. Support fit-gap analysis and ERP configuration validation. Ensure compliance with finance policies, taxation, and regulatory requirements. ERP Testing Quality Assurance Design, develop, and execute test cases for ERP applications including Functional, Integration, Sanity, and Regression Testing. Review and enhance existing test suites to improve test coverage and quality. Perform end-to-end testing and manage defect lifecycle through closure. Validate financial transactions, reports, interfaces, and workflows. Support data migration, reconciliation, and system integration testing. Conduct regression impact analysis and client leakage analysis for enhancements and changes. Provide domain guidance to testing teams and stakeholders. Stakeholder Process Support Translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery. Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant experience in ERP Finance Domain Testing and Quality Assurance Must-Have Skills 510+ years of Software Testing experience. 58+ years of ERP Finance Testing experience. Strong knowledge of Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets. Hands-on experience with ERP testing, STLC, defect management, and test execution. Experience with JIRA, SQL, Database Query Tools, and Jenkins. Understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and data validation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to validate complex financial business processes and workflows. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with ERP implementation or transformation programs. Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar ERP platforms. Test automation experience using Selenium or Robot Framework. CI/CD pipeline knowledge. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
