The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in test automation with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and Karate Framework . The candidate should have hands-on experience in GUI and API testing, automation framework development, defect management, and Agile testing practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber BDD. Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java. Perform GUI and API testing using the Karate Framework. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. Manage defects and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution. Participate in sprint planning and perform in-sprint automation activities. Ensure software quality through Agile testing methodologies. Continuously improve automation coverage and framework efficiency. Required Skills 5–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver . Hands-on experience with Playwright automation. Experience with Cucumber BDD Framework . Strong Java programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills. Experience in GUI Testing . Hands-on experience in API Testing using Karate Framework . Good understanding of testing processes and defect management. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with In-Sprint Automation. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Knowledge of Git, Maven, and TestNG. Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
