Position Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join CGI team to support a delivery team working on EFT and Fiscalization initiatives. The role focuses on business analysis, discovery, requirements definition, and backlog preparation.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops.

• Perform gap analysis and identify improvement opportunities.

• Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

• Support backlog creation and prioritization discussions.

• Analyze integrations, transaction flows, and external provider dependencies.

• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements.

• Support testing activities by explaining expected system behavior and resolving requirement questions.

• Help identify required stakeholders, workshops, and documentation to move discovery forward.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Minimum four years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT or technology-driven projects.

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.

• Solid analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Experience as a Business Analyst in agile delivery environments.

• Strong skills in:

• Requirements gathering

• Process mapping

• AS-IS / TO-BE analysis

• Gap analysis

• Stakeholder management

• User story and acceptance criteria creation

• Functional documentation

• Testing support

• Basic experience with POS transformation or rollout projects.

• Understanding of integrations and external system dependencies.

• Strong communication skills and professional English.
