Cybersecurity AI Engineering Specialist

The Cybersecurity AI Engineering Specialist is part of CGI's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), which provides 24/7 security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response capabilities across the organization. The Cybersecurity AI Engineering Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI powered capabilities that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. Working across Security Monitoring, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Engineering teams, the role focuses on applying artificial intelligence, automation, and large language models (LLMs) to improve threat detection, accelerate investigations, reduce analyst workload, and strengthen cyber resilience. The role combines cybersecurity expertise with software engineering and AI development to create intelligent solutions that automate repetitive tasks, enrich security investigations, improve detection engineering workflows, and provide decision support to security analysts. The successful candidate will evaluate emerging AI technologies, build secure AI powered applications, and ensure responsible use of AI within security operations. This role requires a strong understanding of modern AI frameworks, cloud technologies, and software development. Experience in cybersecurity operations and detection engineering is desirable.
