Job Description Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Automation: - Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible. - Build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions. CI/CD Pipeline Development: - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build. - Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve development efficiency. Cloud Management & Optimization: - Monitor and optimize GCP resources for cost, performance, and security. - Implement IAM best practices and fine-grained access control policies for secure cloud environments. Containerization and Orchestration: - Implement service discovery, autoscaling, and load balancing for containerized apps. Monitoring and Incident Response: - Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana. - Implement automated incident response workflows and root cause analysis mechanisms. Collaboration and Best Practices: - Collaborate with development and operations teams to align infrastructure with business goals. - Advocate for DevOps culture and practices, including Agile and SRE principles. Required Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with GCP services (GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.). - Proficiency in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Pulumi. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration concepts. - Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
