Java Back End Developer

Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer (8+ Years) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database design. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and implement Microservices-based architectures. Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions. Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17. Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Good knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database design. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Experience using Git for version control. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2 and JWT. Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus. Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with event-driven architecture. Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies. Familiarity with performance tuning and JVM optimization.
