Familiarity with grid codes and compliance requirements Resource Experience 10 – 15 Years Job Description: Domain Expert – Power Grid, Power Systems & Renewable energy Role Overview Responsible for providing domain expertise in power grid, power systems & Renewable energy to support product development, validation, and operational activities. Work closely with Product, R&D, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure systems comply with grid requirements and function reliably in real world scenarios. Key Responsibilities * Provide domain expertise on power systems, grid operations, and electrical networks * Support product and engineering teams with functional requirements and system behavior * Support Product manager in designing and realizing new products as per regional Gridcode * Validate system performance against grid code and compliance requirements * Analyze power system data and identify operational or control issues * Contribute to design and validation of SCADA, EMS, and PPC functionalities * Assist in troubleshooting system issues related to grid behavior and control * Collaborate with cross functional teams for successful system deployment * Build and share Product and domain knowledge across teams as a subject matter expert (SME) * Product Demonstration to End Customers Required Skills * Strong understanding of power systems and grid operations * Knowledgeable about high and low voltage equipment in substations. * Understand the operating principle of wind power generation and BESS energy storage systems. * Grid Simulation expertise using ETAP, PSSE, PSCAD in Renewable energy domain * Knowledge of voltage, frequency, reactive power and power factor control * Familiarity with grid codes and compliance requirements * Understanding of SCADA/EMS systems and power plant control * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Good communication and stakeholder coordination Preferred * Engineering degree in Electrical or Power Systems * Experience in renewable energy (Wind, Solar, BESS) * Experience working with utilities, substations, or grid operators What Success Looks Like * Accurate and practical domain inputs to product and engineering teams * Strong support in grid compliance and system validation * Effective resolution of power system related issues * Recognition as a trusted SME in power grid and system behavior Working Conditions * May require travel * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously * Hybrid office #LI-GB9
