Position Description Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Position: Senior Systems Engineer Experience: 6-8Yrs Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore / Chennai Employment Type: Full Time Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices, with a strong foundation in cloud security and scalability. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like ECS and Docker. Experience with creating AWS landing zones and leveraging Amazon Bedrock for generative AI applications is a key component of this role. Key Responsibilities 7 to 8 years of experience in design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architecture on AWS. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Strong experience in build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform Strong experience with core AWS services: EC2, EBS, EFS, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, SSM, Security Groups, Secrets Manager, RDS, Lamda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, KMS, Route53, and VPC Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock to build and scale generative AI applications, integrating them with existing services. Design, implement, and govern a secure and scalable AWS landing zone Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using AWS ECS, Fargate, AKS, and Docker Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance standards and best practices. Required Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or CodePipeline. Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS. Work closely with our development and operations teams to support their infrastructure needs and provide expert guidance on cloud best practices Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk. Troubleshoot issues across the cloud environment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) is must Preferred Skills Strong background in Linux system administration is plus Experience with SAP/SAP HANA on AWS and familiarity with SAP system refreshes and autoscaling strategies is a plus Experience in GCP or Azure is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Skills Terraform Google Cloud Platform
