Senior Business Analyst Wealth Management

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst at CGI, you will collaborate closely with clients, client business leads, product managers, technology teams, and QA teams to understand business needs, document requirements, support solution design, and ensure successful delivery of features. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements - Translating business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria - Assisting in preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, use cases, workflow diagrams, and other project documentation - Acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure common understanding of requirements - Collaborating with development, QA, product, and delivery teams - Supporting requirement walkthroughs, backlog grooming, & user story refinement - Analyzing business processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience - Supporting testing scenarios review, defect triage, and business user coordination - Maintaining requirement traceability - Contributing to product enhancements - Staying updated on industry trends Qualification Required: To be successful in this role, you should have: - Domain knowledge in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services - 4 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects - Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodology - Experience in requirement gathering, user story writing, process mapping, and stakeholder communication - Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills - Experience in creating as-is and to-be flows - Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and how AI can be applied in business and IT processes - Ability to use AI-enabled tools to support requirement analysis, documentation, process mapping, and productivity improvement - Basic understanding of prompt writing and responsible use of AI tools - Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent team player who can guide, assist, and motivate team members to produce the best team results - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Additional Company Details: Founded in 1976, CGI is among the largest independent IT and business consulting services firms globally, with 94,000 consultants and professionals.
