Senior Oracle DBA

We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator / Senior Oracle DBA to maintain and further develop business-critical Oracle database environments in an international IT environment. The role is based in Warsaw and offers a hybrid working model – al. Jerozolimskie 100 Job responsibilities: • Administration of Oracle databases, • Installation, configuration, and monitoring of database environments, • Patching, upgrades, and ensuring system stability, • Performance tuning and capacity planning, • Backup/recovery and database migrations, • Support for incident, change, and problem management processes, • Collaboration with business teams, providers, and vendors. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA, • Very good knowledge of Oracle Database, • Experience with high availability, backup/recovery, migrations, and performance optimization, • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX, • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public/private cloud, • Understanding of IT security, business continuity, and operational processes, • Experience in project work and Agile/Scrum, • Good English skills, • Experience with Jira and Confluence, • Nice to have: Oracle, Cloud, ITSM, or project management certifications.
