Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead quality assurance activities for the delivery of a strategic cloud native messaging platform. The role will be responsible for defining the testing strategy, implementing test automation, and ensuring high quality software delivery across multiple agile teams. The successful candidate will help establish modern testing practices within a DevSecOps delivery model while supporting the migration from legacy messaging platforms to a resilient, scalable Platform as a Service (PaaS). Job responsibilities: • Define and own the overall test strategy for the programme. • Lead functional, integration, regression, performance, and non functional testing activities. • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Epic Owners, Solution Architects, and Development teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC. • Establish quality metrics, reporting, defect management, and release readiness processes. • Coordinate testing across cloud native microservices and distributed systems. • Support end to end testing involving Kafka, APIs, middleware, and external integrations. • Ensure testing complies with security, resilience, and regulatory requirements. • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and automation capabilities. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • 8+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years as Test Manager or QA Lead. • Strong experience implementing test automation strategies. • Experience with cloud native applications running on Kubernetes. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar). • Experience testing distributed systems, APIs, messaging, and event driven architectures. • Familiarity with Kafka, REST APIs, containerized environments, and microservices. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Very good command both Polish and English Nice to have: • Experience within Financial Services, Payments, or SWIFT messaging. • Understanding of ISO 20022 messaging. • Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, or modern data platforms. • Knowledge of performance and security testing.
