Trading Desk Production Support

CGI is seeking a highly skilled production engineer to provide critical support for the trading desk for the Fixed Income product set. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, performance and scalability of real time trading systems. You will engage directly with Traders and Development teams to optimize trading workflows, troubleshoot complex issues and help drive continuous improvement in both the processes and the environment while sitting at trading desk floor. The role is ideal for a problem solver who can thrive under pressure, able to balance technical ability with business acumen and communicate well to the trading desks. The team follow technology policies for change, incident and problem management with roles and responsibilities clearly defined. Ensure that support procedures and activities are followed diligently and suitably documented. You will be part of an existing team and will ensure applications are maintained and monitored to provide a stable environment for all users. You will help the engineering culture that seeks to automate and reduce manual effort in order to reduce risk and costs. Onsite at least 4 days week. Need to be in office trading desk in the morning by 7:00 AM before market opens. This position is located in New York, NY
