About the role
Experience: 1014 Years Reports To: COO / CTO Role Overview CGreen is building a voice-first, AI-native collections and financial services platform. Project Relive extends this into a Branch-as-a-Service model for Bharat BFSI combining CGreen's collections intelligence with a large BC network to create the operating system for last-mile financial services. We are looking for a Head of Data Science & AI who will build and lead the intelligence layer that sits at the core of both businesses. This is not a pure research role. The DS Head will translate business problems into model strategies, own the intelligence roadmap, manage a small high-quality team, and ensure that every model built actually moves an operational needle. The ideal candidate is a hybrid leader technically robust enough to review model architecture, write SQL and Python where needed, and challenge methodology; but business- aware enough to prioritise use cases by ROI, communicate model outputs to non-technical stakeholders, and align the DS function to CGreen's commercial goals. What You Will Own Intelligence Strategy Define and own CGreen's Data Science & AI roadmap across collections intelligence, customer behaviour modelling, voice/NLP analytics, and BC network intelligence. Translate business priorities from collections, operations, lender relationships, and Project Relive into concrete model use cases with transparent success metrics. Build a use-case prioritisation framework that balances model complexity, data availability, and business impact. Own the champion-challenger experimentation framework across all scoring and prioritization models. Model Governance & Quality Define model development standards feature engineering, validation, monitoring, versioning, and retirement. Ensure model outputs are interpretable, auditable, and production-secure before deployment. Build feedback loops between operational outcomes (payments, resolutions, call outcomes) and model .
