About the role
About the program The Backend Development Internship is designed for students and recent graduates who are interested in building secure scalable and high performance server side applications. This virtual internship provides practical experience in developing APIs managing databases implementing authentication and deploying backend services. Interns will work with technologies such as Node JS Express JS Python Django SQL MongoDB and Git while learning industry standard software development practices. They will design REST APIs integrate databases implement authentication and authorization handle data processing and optimize application performance through real world projects. Throughout the internship participants will receive guidance from experienced mentors attend technical workshops and collaborate with development teams. The program focuses on problem solving software architecture debugging testing version control and clean coding practices to prepare interns for professional software engineering roles. By the end of the internship interns will have developed several portfolio ready backend applications demonstrating strong programming and database management skills. Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Letter of Recommendation. Outstanding performers may also be considered for future internship or placement opportunities based on their performance.
