Staff Endpoint Security Engineer

As a Staff Endpoint Security Engineer at ChargePoint, your role involves leading and maturing the endpoint security program across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. You will work closely with IT, security operations, and compliance teams to ensure that all managed devices meet the highest security standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Define, implement, and enforce endpoint security baselines and hardening standards across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. - Deploy, manage, and tune Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions across all device types. - Implement and maintain antivirus, anti-malware, firewall, application control, and data loss prevention controls. - Conduct regular endpoint vulnerability assessments and drive timely remediation. - Manage full-disk encryption across platforms. In terms of Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will be responsible for: - Architecting, deploying, and managing enterprise MDM solutions across the organization's device fleet. - Designing and enforcing MDM enrolment workflows, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and access rules. - Managing application lifecycle through MDM and certificate lifecycle for device authentication. Specifically for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, your responsibilities will include: - Managing and hardening endpoints using appropriate tools and platforms. - Implementing and maintaining security controls specific to each platform. - Overseeing patch management processes and endpoint telemetry configurations. Your role will also involve threat detection and incident response, compliance and governance activities, as well as leadership and collaboration with other teams. Additionally, you will be required to have 79 years of hands-on experience in endpoint security and related fields, along with expertise in Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint security practices.
