Production Engineer

Production Engineer Furniture Manufacturing Company: Charna Interiors Location: Una, Himachal Pradesh Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated Production Engineer to manage furniture manufacturing, production planning, quality control, and site coordination. The ideal candidate should have experience in modular furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, and interior projects, with the ability to lead factory workers and installation teams. Key Responsibilities Plan and monitor daily production schedules. Ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders. Supervise carpenters, machine operators, polish teams, and helpers. Coordinate between factory and installation site teams. Read and understand AutoCAD drawings and production details. Ensure product quality at every stage of manufacturing. Control material wastage and improve labour productivity. Maintain production reports, inventory records, and work progress. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely material availability. Resolve production and site-related issues quickly. Implement safety and housekeeping standards in the factory. Work closely with management to improve production efficiency and on-time deliveries. Required Qualifications Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out projects. Required Skills Experience in modular furniture manufacturing. Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings. Strong team management and leadership skills. Good communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting. Experience with ERP or project management software is an added advantage.
