Role Overview: As an intern at Chegg, you will have the opportunity to work with a modern and cutting-edge tech stack, contributing to end-to-end feature development and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that reach millions of students worldwide. This internship provides a hands-on experience where you can write real code, solve real problems, and make a meaningful impact in line with Chegg's mission to help every student succeed. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to end-to-end feature development, participate in system design discussions, and ensure clean, shippable increments. - Work across the tech stack building user interfaces, extending backend microservices, writing SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and data transformations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage AWS services for building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure. - Develop dashboards, extract insights from large-scale data, and work with analytics partners to deliver data products. - Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and adopt observability practices like structured logging and metrics dashboards. Qualifications Required: - Currently in final year of or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field. - Solid foundation in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, Java, Node, etc.). - Understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. - Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows. - Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly and work across unfamiliar stacks. - Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively.
