About the role
Job Description: Automation Test Engineer (Selenium Python) Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly. 3. Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks to support efficient test execution. 4. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, identify defects, and report them using appropriate defect tracking tools. 5. Identify, prioritize, and implement suitable test scenarios and test cases for automation. 6. Participate in test case reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness. 7. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for identified defects and work with the development team to resolve them. 8. Monitor and analyze test results, track defects, and generate comprehensive test reports. 9. Continuously improve the automation test suite by incorporating new tools, technologies, and best practices. 10. Collaborate with the QA team to define and enforce quality standards and processes. 11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
