About the role
As a Machine Learning Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify business requirements and objectives. You will manage deliverables against timelines, present results, and implement the model effectively. Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques to perform hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and predictive modeling. Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of AI and machine learning to ensure the application of cutting-edge technologies. Mentor and coach junior team members, providing support on projects that require advanced skills and domain expertise. Gain a deeper understanding of our business and develop expertise across multiple lines of business. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize a broad spectrum of NLP, Machine Learning, and deep learning techniques to extract impactful features from unstructured data. - Develop and implement models that aid in drawing risk-related insights from large datasets to facilitate business decision-making. - Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes for efficient and reliable data analytics. - Develop metrics to measure business performance and monitor the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Sound understanding of Generative AI based models and Prompt Engineering, and LLMs to drive innovation and generate valuable insights from data. - Strong grasp of foundational ML concepts such as Probabilistic Models, Supervised vs Unsupervised Learning, Ensemble Techniques, Hyperparameter Optimization, and Deep Learning. - Proficiency in Python with strong capabilities in data engineering, data transformation, data analysis, and data dashboard building. Knowledge of R/SQL would be an advantage. - Strong understanding of BERT and Transformers models is highly desired for this position. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Math, Actuarial, or related quantitative fields. An advanced degree in data science or business analytics would be beneficial. - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in data analytics fields. - Previous exposure to or knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous.
