Profile Summary:

Results-driven Security & Fire Alarm System Design Engineer with 8–12 years of experience in designing, engineering, and implementing integrated life safety and security systems across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Proven expertise in Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Building Management Systems (BMS) integration. Strong knowledge of international standards including NFPA, NBC, UL, FM, and ISO, with hands-on experience in design calculations, system layouts, BOQs, and technical compliance. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, consultants, and clients to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and code-compliant solutions.

Designed and engineered fire alarm and detection systems for large-scale projects including commercial buildings, data centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities. Developed detailed system layouts, riser diagrams, loop drawings, and zoning plans using AutoCAD. Performed device calculations, battery sizing, voltage drop calculations, and compliance checks as per NFPA 72 standards. Prepared technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documentation for client approvals. Coordinated with MEP consultants, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration with other building systems. Managed site inspections, testing & commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet performance and safety standards. Provided technical support and troubleshooting during installation and post-handover phases. Worked with leading OEMs such as Honeywell, Siemens, Bosch, Notifier, Edwards, Hikvision, and Axis.
