Artificial Intelligence Solutions Scientist

Role Overview: As an AI Scientist at CIBC India, you will be part of the Enterprise Advanced Analytics and AI team, which is the center of AI excellence within CIBC. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement machine learning and AI models to solve business problems. You will work with structured and unstructured data, collaborating with Global cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Your work will involve staying current with AI/ML advancements, applying best practices to real-world challenges, and partnering with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Model Development: Build, test, and deploy predictive models using advanced analytics and AI techniques. - Data Preparation: Clean, transform, and analyze data to support model development and business insights. - Research & Innovation: Stay current with AI/ML advancements and apply best practices to real-world challenges. - Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable solutions. - Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of models, processes, and results. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years experience in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.) - Solid understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. - Exposure to NLP, GenAI, and large language models. - Proficient in using scalable cloud-based tools (e.g. Databricks), version control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, JIRA) and containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong communication and analytical skills to develop unique solutions to complex issues and provide interpretive advice to business leaders. - Ability to adapt to new tools and trends in technology.
