Developer - Cybersecurity Automation Engineering

You will be joining the Cybersecurity, Third Party & Resilience Technology (CTPRT) team at CIBC India, where you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows and integrations within SOAR and SIEM platforms. Your main responsibility will be to enhance incident response times and operational efficiency for security teams by collaborating with various stakeholders. Here are the key details of the job: Key Responsibilities: - Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to bridge the gap between security operations and technology, empowering security teams to respond to threats more efficiently. - Design and implement custom automation workflows within SIEM and SOAR platforms to automate incident response tasks. - Integrate various security tools with the SIEM and SOAR platforms for seamless data exchange and orchestration of security actions. - Create and maintain user-friendly interfaces, detailed playbooks, and scripts outlining step-by-step procedures for responding to different security threats. - Lead the analysis of requirements, estimations, and end-to-end implementation of program-specific solutions. - Coordinate complex application programming activities, including development, testing, debugging, and automation. - Lead code-review sessions, ensure code quality aligns with business requirements, and provide support for troubleshooting complex problems. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent. - 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing security solutions in a complex environment. - Proficiency in Palo Alto XSOAR core development and security engineering. - Strong experience in automation, playbooks, and scripting using Python. - Expertise in developing XSOAR custom instance connectors using various API types. - Working knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, Functions, BLOB, and Key Vault integrations. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
