Instrumentation Engineer

As an Instrumentation Engineer at our Rubber Industry in Nagercoil, you will be responsible for the following: - Monitor and maintain plant instrumentation systems and control panels. - Handle calibration and troubleshooting of instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters. - Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. - Ensure smooth functioning of PLC, SCADA, sensors, and automation systems. - Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. - Maintain records of maintenance activities and calibration reports. - Assist in installation and commissioning of new instruments and equipment. - Follow safety standards and company procedures during maintenance activities. - Identify process improvement opportunities for better efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, or related field. - Freshers can apply. - Experienced candidates with experience in Rubber, Manufacturing, Tyre, Plastic, or Process Industries are preferred. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Basic knowledge of industrial instrumentation and automation systems. - Understanding of PLC, SCADA, control valves, and sensors. - Troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. - Ability to work in shifts if required.
