About the role
Role & responsibilities To scout and evaluate cutting-edge technologies in LV Switchgear including Switches serving Industrial, Photovoltaic, BESS & Railway sectors. Test and validate new concepts for integration into products and support in productization partnering with product management & Engineering teams. Build expertise in electronics and power electronics design. Collaborate with academia to co-develop future-ready solutions. The position will be part of the CTO office with the possibility of progressing to the CTO position. Drive innovation across existing and next-gen product lines. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with relevant experience in LV Switch Gears Should have minimum 15 to 18 years experience Age not to exceed 38 to 40 years Should have good experience in Design/Technology aspects of LV Switchgears/Switches Should have good experience in Technical Evaluation of finished products (Third party manufacturing) design and technology aspects. Should have a good understanding and passion to collaborate with academia /institutions for collaborations and research. Strong foundation in power systems, switchgear, and electronics. Passion for research, innovation, and continuous learning. Experience in R&D or technology scouting. Exposure to academic-industry partnerships. Knowledge of embedded systems or IoT in power systems. Should be willing to work out of Coimbatore location. .
