We're now expanding our team in Chandigarh and looking for a seasoned Principal PostgreSQL DBA who also brings hands-on Oracle DBA experience to support our enterprise clients across the globe. What Youll Be Doing As a senior member of our DBA team, youll combine expert-level technical skills with a consulting mindset to deliver and support complex database environments across PostgreSQL and Oracle: - Lead architecture, design, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade PostgreSQL environments - Handle PostgreSQL administration: installation, configuration, PITR, replication, clustering, and upgrades/migrations - Provide end-to-end Oracle support: CDB/PDB management, cross-platform migrations, patching, performance tuning, and backups - Tune databases using tools like OEM 13c, AWR, ADDM, and ORAchk - Design and implement automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, and Terraform - Collaborate closely with project managers and client stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and support - Proactively resolve incidents and drive performance optimization for mission-critical databases - Work across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, OCI, Azure) What You Bring Must-Have Skills: - 8+ years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA: - 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA: - Proven experience supporting production environments and working in consulting or customer-facing roles - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL in cloud (especially AWS/Aurora) and on-prem environments - Deep experience in database performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands-on .
