About the role
As an Instrumentation Engineer at Cipla, your role involves executing maintenance activities in the plant to ensure minimal breakdowns in Instrumentation & Automation while maximizing efficiency following safety & GMP Standards. Your responsibilities include: - Supporting the Senior Instrumentation Engineer in Functional EM&R Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Execution of CMP to ensure plant & equipment availability at optimal cost, standard capacity, integrity, and reliability in compliance with Cipla Policies. - Executing maintenance tasks assigned by Senior Engineer in the Manufacturing & Packing Area. - Holding accountability for Service Floor / Technical Floor maintenance execution as a 3rd Party Instrumentation Engineer. - Managing available resources to achieve shift maintenance plan and executing maintenance activities in a shift. - Scheduling shift activities aligning with CMP including PM, Calibration, and condition monitoring activities. - Performing validation, qualification, calibration as per schedule, and updating related documentation. - Implementing Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Condition Monitoring, Planned Corrective Actions in planned Instrumentation & Automation maintenance. The preferred candidate for this role should have: - 5-9 years of experience in manufacturing (Maintenance and Projects). - Ability to implement new techniques, understanding of manufacturing process, planning, organizational skills, multitasking, financial concepts. - Good technical knowledge of Pharma/API machinery and utility requirements. - Experience in the execution of green field/brown field projects. - Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements. - Strong leadership skills and experience in industrial automation.
