Consulting Engineer

Cisco is hiring for the role of Consulting Engineer! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Engages with customers to create value and deliver outcomes, adoption, and renewals. Proactively collaborates cross-functionally teams to ensure a unified customer experience across the lifecycle Provide Day-2 support on Cisco products and solutions for customers, leveraging technical expertise, AI and automation, strategic guidance, and innovative solutions to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction Serves as a focal point for proactive problem resolution, providing timely support across Cisco technologies Develops and delivers technical content and guidance that supports customer engagements, drives solution adoption, and enables customer self-sufficiency Creates customer-facing documentation, ensuring deliverables are technically sound, clearly articulated, and aligned with CX standards Leverages AI and automation to enhance delivery efficiency, innovation and customer outcomes, while also increasing personal productivity and focus on high-impact work Contributes to knowledge sharing and the development of digital intellectual capital, including documentation templates, automation artifacts and other assets that improve Cisco delivery methodology and processes Requirements: Bachelors or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a similar field. 1 -2 years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge in protocols/features like: Routing protocols (ISIS, OSPF, and certainly BGP), Multicast, and all MPLS technologies: MPLS L3VPN. MPLS L2VPN, EVPN technologies. Familiarity with service provider platforms like: ASR9k, NCS5k, NCS500, NCS6k and CRS. Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or Network solution designing of Cisco routers and switch Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers. CCNA is must, CCNP desired (Routing & Switching / Service Provider).
