Your Impact Design and build tools to test Cisco products, validating quality and stability from a System/Solution perspective, emulating real customer environments with wireless deployments.Create Cisco Validated Profiles and maintain systematic documentation for end-to-end solutions and equipment.Plan and execute automated and manual tests for Industrial IoT products, wireless, and LAN controllers across public and private clouds.Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues for IIoT and Enterprise products, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution.Improve testing effectiveness using advanced approaches, tools, and technologies; adopt AI/ML techniques to enhance automation and manual execution.Support the team in expanding networking and test technology knowledge, retaining critical learnings for the department.Work with local and remote teams to review Product Requirements, Functional and Design Specifications, and test strategies for unit, integration, and system testing.Drive innovation by proposing new ideas that contribute to patents and IP value for the company. Minimum Qualifications (Must Have) We are seeking a Software Engineer with 8+ years in real-time embedded systems, leading large solutions and high-performance teams with end-to-end system understanding. Proficient in Python coding with a proven track record to build high-quality, inclusive automation test frameworks.Proven knowledge -on expertise in networking, including routers, switches, L2/L3 routing and switching technologies, VLANs, OSPF, and other key network protocolsExperience with control/data plane software, Linux/RTOS/Networking OS internals, and performance/scale testing of new platforms and features.Skilled in writing high-quality code using the AI/ML tools throughout the software development lifecycle.Good exposure to controllers and network management systems, with a focus on innovation and test acceleration.Excellent verbal/written communication with a proven ability to design and implement complex technical solutions.
