Test Development Engineer

Cisco is hiring for the role of Test Development Engineer! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Develop end-to-end test strategies for next-generation AI high-end routers, from Design for Testability (DFT) assessments through mass production readiness. Develop and deploy board- and system-level automated functional test processes at global contract manufacturing sites. Develop Python-based test automation scripts to improve test coverage, manufacturing efficiency, capacity, yield, and product quality. Perform product failure analysis and fault isolation, and guide component- and system-level debugging. Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and Supply Chain teams to support prototype builds and ensure a smooth production ramp. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics & Communication, or Computer Science Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience. Basic understanding of product development processes from concept through end-of-life Python scripting skills Data Analytics Basic knowledge of hardware protocols – I2C, SPI, etc.
