Role Overview: As an Assistant Vice-President - Risk Reporting Sr. Analyst at Citi, you will be a seasoned professional responsible for overseeing risk-taking activities and assessing risks independently. You will contribute to the development of new techniques and processes, integrate industry expertise, and evaluate complex issues with a substantial impact. Your role will involve leading initiatives to optimize processes and infrastructure within the Enterprise Risk Reporting department. Key Responsibilities: - Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to improve processes and workflows. - Integrate subject matter expertise to contribute to the function's objectives. - Evaluate complex issues and provide solutions by balancing conflicting situations. - Lead initiatives to enhance processes and infrastructure within the risk reporting framework. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using innovative technologies. - Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights for risk management. - Develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau. - Design and implement workflows using tools like Appian to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. - Apply expertise in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to develop predictive models and enhance risk assessment capabilities. - Participate in software development projects to support the goals of the Enterprise Risk Reporting department. - Prepare regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to regulators and senior management. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of senior-level experience in a related role. - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in process optimization and infrastructure enhancement within a financial services environment. - Strong proficiency in data analytics techniques and tools, with hands-on experience in Python, Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, and workflow development tools like Appian. - Experience or good understanding in the field of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques for risk modeling and prediction. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
