As a Data Analytics Sr Lead Analyst, you will be a strategic professional closely following the latest trends in the field of data analytics and applying them within your role and the business. You will join a select group of individuals providing a high level of expertise, where excellent communication skills are crucial for negotiating internally, especially at a senior level. Your developed communication and diplomacy skills will guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues from different areas and occasional external customers. You will be accountable for significant direct business results and providing authoritative advice on business operations. This role will involve responsibility over the technical strategy, primarily impacting a sub-function. Additionally, you will handle staff management issues, including resource management and work allocation within the team/project. Your key responsibilities as a Data Analytics Sr Lead Analyst will include: - Adapting the latest trends in Data Science, Data Mining, and Big Data fields for application within your role and the business - Serving as the subject matter expert for strategic data analysis, identifying insights and implications, making strategic recommendations, and developing data displays to communicate complex analysis clearly - Demonstrating excellent communication skills for negotiating internally at a senior level and leveraging diplomacy to guide, influence, and convince internal and external stakeholders - Applying ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and novel contexts - Comparing and selecting complex alternatives using sophisticated analytical thought to make refined judgments and sound solutions - Consulting on business operations and offering authoritative advice to influence significant business outcomes - Informing and implementing the sub-function's technical strategy - Handling staff management issues, including resource management and work allocation within the team/project To qualify for this position, you should have: - 10 years of experience working with various data teams - A detailed understanding of the latest data technologies and solutions and their application in solving next-generation business needs - Experience in using tools for statistical modeling - A Bachelor's or University degree or equivalent experience, potentially a Master's degree Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the types of work performed, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
