About the role
As an Applications Development Programmer Analyst at Citi, your role involves participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your overall objective is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop Java components using the Spring framework to implement transaction management. - Manage Java objects and enterprise integration needs involving messages, routers, transformations, adapters, service activators, management, and auditing. - Develop technical specifications and unit test cases. - Translate business and IT requirements and interpret data models. - Participate in the development of the system test plan and provide technical leadership in system integration testing. - Participate in user acceptance testing. - Specialize in Dependency Injection/Inversion of control, Aspect-oriented programming, Data Access Framework, Transaction Management Framework, Batch Processing, and ORM framework Hibernate. As an Angular Developer, your responsibilities include: - Developing new user-facing features using Angular 16 and above. - Building reusable code and libraries for future use. - Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. - Translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. - Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Building interactive data visualization and data interfaces using web technologies. - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Validating all user input before submitting to the back-end. - Cooperating with the back-end developer in building the RESTful API. Qualifications: - 3+ years of relevant experience. - Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications. - Working knowledge of industry practices and standards. - Comprehensive knowledge of a specific business area for application development. - Working knowledge of programming languages. - Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
