Role OverviewAs a Python Java Principal Software Engineer Vice President at our company, you will be a seniorlevel position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your overall objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key ResponsibilitiesPossess programming skills, including concurrent, parallel, and distributed systems programmingDemonstrate advanced level knowledge of Java and PythonExhibit advanced level experience with HTTP, ReSTful web services, and API designUtilize messaging technologies such as KafkaHave experience with Reactive StreamsFamiliarity with AWS S3 and GCP Big QueryGood working knowledge of a scripting language such as Groovy, Python, JavaScript, etc.Experience with KubernetesUnderstand the Linux OSFamiliarity with Gradle and Kotlin would be beneficialQualifications RequiredMust have 10-16 years of relevant experience in Apps Development using Java, Python, RESTful APIs, KAFKA, Apache HadoopExtensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsSubject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications DevelopmentAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation: Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred .
