Senior Java Developer

As a senior Java developer at Citi FX Technology, you will be responsible for working on strategic initiatives related to the FX trade processing platform. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the modernisation of the FX trade processing platform. - Assisting in the migration to the new strategic risk platform by building and integrating trade feed, reconciliation, and control components. - Collaborating on the adoption of internal and external cloud solutions to enable improved automation testing and reduce manual involvement in environment management, as well as to reduce the duration of the regression testing cycle. - Focusing on both new projects and established older technologies to support automation and migration to strategic platforms. - Championing best practices across the FX developer community and coaching junior team members and analysts. - Resolving high-impact problems through the evaluation of complex business and system processes. - Providing expertise in Java development, ensuring application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. - Developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. - Utilizing system flow knowledge to understand how different business areas integrate to achieve goals. - Conducting in-depth analysis, defining issues, and developing innovative solutions.
